Glenn Stewart

Professor Glenn Stewart is currently Professor of Information Technology within the Faculty of Information Technology, Queensland University of Technology. He is the Executive Director of the SAP University Competence Centre Asia Pacific Japan.

Professor Stewart’s research focuses on how to make organisations more effective in using their ICT investments. His current projects include understanding how leadership practices and culture interact in business process management and enterprise systems projects. Professor Stewart also researches on knowledge capture, knowledge engineering, process modelling and Enterprise Architectures. He was the Business Systems Engineering leader in the Faculty of Information Technology between 2003 and 2005, and was responsible for leading the teaching of modelling, analysis and design.
He has been a chief investigator on research grants totalling over $1,000,000 from sources including SAP, the Australian Research Council and Cooperative Research Centres Program in Australia and QUT. He has published over 70 scholarly papers in journals, book chapters and international conferences.
Professor Stewart was the co-chair of the mini-track on Enterprise Systems in the Americas Conference on Information Systems between 1997 and 2007 and foundation chair of the Special Interest Group on Enterprise Systems of the Association of Information Systems (2004 to 2007). 
He is a Fellow of the Australian Computer Society, an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and a member of the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers, the Association of Information Systems and the Australasian Association of Information Systems.
