Jiayuan Yu received his M.A. in Psychology from East China Normal University in 1982. He is a professor in the School of Education Sciences, Nanjing Normal University. He is the council member of Chinese Psychological Society and vice director of psychological measurement committee. He was the council member of International Test Commission in 1996 to 2000. He is the council member of machine learning committee of Chinese Artificial Intelligence Society. He has been awarded China government special allowance since 1992. As a visiting scholar, he has studied in USA and Canada for three years. His research interests including psychological measurement, cognitive psychology, neural networks and computing intelligence. He has published 4 books and about 200 papers in academic journals and conferences.
