Dr.Guofang Nan received the Bachelor degree in Department of Automation from Beijing Institute of Technology in 1998, and M.Sc. degree in School of Automation from Tianjin University in 2002, he received his Ph.D. degree in the Institute of Systems Engineering from Tianjin University in 2004. He has been with the Tianjin University in China since 2006 as an associate professor, and he worked as postdoctoral research associate at Department of Electronics in Polytechnic Institute of Turin from Sep 2008 to Sep 2009. He has been supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China since 2007, and he was selected in the Program for New Century Excellent Talents in Universities in 2008. His research interests include evolutionary computation, sensor networks and related topics.
