He Guo received his B.S. in Computer Architecture from Jilin University in 1982 and received his M.S. in Computer Application from Dalian University of Technology in 1989. He was a visiting scholar at Karlsruhe University form 1990 to 1992. Currently, he is a professor at the School of Software Engineering, Dalian University of Technology and is the Vice Dean of the School.

He Guo’s research interests include distributed computing, computer vision, and software engineering. He has published over 40 research papers.
